The U. S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) has awarded Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to Jefferson County, Alabama for the purpose of assisting in recovery in the most impacted and distressed areas declared a major disaster under Title IV of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq.).
